Honeymoon in Mumbai-A honeymoon is when two people begin their journey of solidarity. It is a time who they say never comes back. Mumbai, or Bombay offers many opportunities to live together. Although May not be the kind of honeymoon destination, Mumbai is an option which rewards exploration. Hitch a ferry from Gorai beach and head over to Essel World; in this famous water park you can have tons of fun and romance with your beloved at the same time. Or hold hands and enjoy the roller coaster rides. It’s an experience which will get you closer, literally. Make a wish for a prosperous and happy married life to Siddhi Vinayak temple or Haji Ali Mosque. Share a spicy bhelpuri in Chowpatty.

Enjoy the view of the majestic Gateway of India on the top floor of the Apollo Bar at the Hotel Taj Mahal or sip coffee and sample flavored hookahs. If you want peace and tranquillity from the hustle and bustle of the city visit Matheran 50 km east of Mumbai. The views are fabulous. In Matheran especially at sunset, you can take a romantic walk hand in hand the many hiking trails.

The only way to get there is to take a small train from Neral Junction at heart of the hill. Two hours of ascent and descent is a 90 minute experience as the train passes through the 1 kiss tunnel . Another great day trip east of the islands is of Elephanta 10 km north of the Gateway of India. Elephanta is easily accessible by boats, which are there every hour until early afternoon, every day of Apollo Bunder. The rocky slope magnificent temples dedicated to Lord Shiva are most visited on a weekday instead of the weekend.
